The twenty-sixth film I watched at TIFF ’10 was Max Winkler’s lovely wedding film Ceremony. Winkler, the son of Henry Winkler (the Fonz), is only TWENTY SIX. I can’t believe Winkler’s only twenty-six years old, which would make sense for the youthful, twisted plot of the film.
Twenty six seems to be a prevalent number.
I am totally amazed that this film didn’t get any theatre time in Toronto. Strolling through one of the few lingering Blockbusters in my area I also found Jack Goes Boating and Super of the TIFF ’10 films that did not get any theatre time.
